In this technology we developed an innovation which is disclosing a process and related system that use electrochemical approach for direct and simultaneously conversion of carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane gas to methanol through a, Room temperature atmospheric pressure, low energy, one-step, efficient electrocatalytic reaction. By applying the EC-CCUS technology of the IRITALY we can realize a circular economy model for using CO2 as feedstock and production of methanol as a clean, sustainable transportation fuel that can be stored on large scale for a long time.
